We embrace contemporary art from around the world, diverse perspectives, and the free exchange of ideas.

We are a non-collecting institution, presenting benchmark exhibitions and collaborating with artists to support new productions, experimentation, and new forms of art making.

We cultivate growth through inquiry, challenge assumptions, and share our work through programs and publications with a focus on critical issues shaping the present.

The New Museum is a project of multiple individuals and perspectives, and stronger because of it. We are committed to becoming a more inclusive institution.

We appreciate the contributions of the many who came before us and acknowledge and pay respect to the land and the heritage of the site where we work.
