About the Artist

Erika L. Roth is a professional portrait artist and illustrator, who specializes in custom portraits of people and their animal friends as well as fun illustrated gifts for dog lovers and those who want to exhibit pride in the LGBTQ+ community. She comes from a long line of artists and was first taught to draw by her talented grandmother. Today, her chosen mediums for executing her work are primarily graphite, Prismacolor,  watercolor, and/or mixed media.   

Erika studied illustration at the esteemed Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in Baltimore, Maryland, and her fine art has been the recipient of awards at various juried art exhibitions in the Northeastern United States. The biggest reward of all, however, is when she hears that people have teared up or otherwise been visibly moved by the captured spirits of their loved ones in her portraits.
