Learn introductory woodworking, while making a beautiful reclaimed wood cutting and/or cheese board. Instruction includes wood choices, lumber preparation with table and miter saw, glue-up, planing, sanding and finishing techniques. By the end of the workshop, held at Sawkill Lumber in Crown Heights, you’ll end up with a lasting, locally sourced, reclaimed cutting board with a story attached. Participants choose from five old growth wood options, beginners are welcome!
