Brenda W. Clough spent much of her childhood overseas, courtesy of the U.S. government. She has lived in Laos, the Philippines, and Europe, and spent many years near Washington, DC. Her first fantasy novel, The Crystal Crown, was published by DAW in 1984. Her novel How Like a God, now available from Book View Cafe, was published by Tor Books in 1997. Her novella May Be Some Time was a finalist for both the Hugo and Nebula Award.
