The Gourmandise School is a recreational cooking school in Santa Monica Place Shopping Center, offering hands-on cooking and baking classes for beginners to professionals, adults and kids, focusing on teaching classic techniques, striving to use locally sourced and sustainable ingredients.

Looking for a fun way to spend quality time with your child? The Gourmandise School 2.5-hour Parent & Child classes are an excellent way to introduce your little chef to the kitchen! Your child (ages 6-11) will learn baking and cooking skills at their level from professional instructors.

Parent and Child classes feature a variety of dishes and sweet treats, from homemade pasta, a pancake breakfast, cinnamon rolls, and cookie decorating to French Macarons.

The Gourmandise School’s Technique Classes are designed to give you solid foundational skills in a particular area of cooking. You will learn how to cook and feel confident in the kitchen. Many people take each class individually to round out their skills and then are able to build a course, so to speak, according to their schedules.

The Gourmandise School
