Alexander Morris holds a BFA from the University of Utah and has been working as a professional painter since graduating in 2013. He has recently exhibited his work at the AAM, Providence Art Club, Art League of RI and Mass Arts Center in Mansfield, MA. Alexander has won best in show among many other accolades including "Best Abstract" at the AAM's 2022 Members' Exhibit.

Cunning is part of a small series created this year by the artist as part of his continued fascination with the exquisite spectacle that were the myriad of shipwrecks that occurred during the 17th and 18th centuries between Europe and the American continent. Using handmade acrylic, Mr. Morris infuses his highly textural abstract pieces with nautical vigor and love for difficult endeavours.

The artist has graciously agreed to start the bidding at $300.
