Ann-Marie Gillett was a visual arts teacher and department head at the Wheeler School in Providence, RI. Returning to her studio practice full time she has won awards and exhibited her work in group and solo shows in galleries throughout New England. Her work features an innovative technique she developed that uses hand-painted, scissor-cut artist tape in mixed media works.
This work consists of hand-painted artist tape that is cut and arranged to create an image of a nest. Birds are nature's engineers and Gillett has tried to honor them by doing a series of a variety of nests. This is one from that series.

The Bidding Increments are as follows:
$1-99, the bidding increment is $5
$100-199, the bidding increment is $10
$200-499, the bidding increment is $20
$500-999, the bidding increment is $50
$1000 and up, the bidding increment is $100
This item can be shipped or picked up at the Attleboro Arts Museum from November 8th – 11th, 2023. The Museum is open Tuesday - Saturday from 10am-5pm. The winning bidder is responsible for all shipping and handling costs. The artist retains all reproduction and copyrights.
