Rigmor "Ree" Clark (1933-2019) was born in Milwaukee to Danish parents. Ree lived some years in Denmark, but most of her childhood in Nebraska. She became an actress who starred in plays with Olympia Dukakis. Also an author, she wrote and published "The Glistening Isle," a Danish historical novel. Very into music, she toured Europe playing violin and sang in Attleboro's Senior Citizen shows. Ree became an artist and trying all mediums she surrounded herself with nature and animal prints. She said she identified with endangered species and would often paint polar bears, Bengal tigers and whales. She created emotionally - painting and writing - which was very cathartic for her.
When Ree passed away in 2019, she left many works of art to the Attleboro Historical Commission all of which were local Attleboro scenes.
