Linda Pearlman Karlsberg earned a BFA and MFA in painting at Boston University College for the Arts. Linda exhibited her work recently in the AAM's "8 Visions" Exhibition, at Five Points Art Gallery, Monmouth Museum, Alpers Fine Art, Dedee Shattuck Gallery, the International ARC Salon and with American Women Artists. Her work has been exhibited extensively, received numerous awards, been featured in art periodicals, blogs, shared in numerous catalogs and is in public and private collections throughout the US.

Drawing from the figure is a record of seeing and a contemplative appreciation of the human form. Looking for the structure and intricacies of form, each drawing is a process, and a dialog in graphite or charcoal between the page and Pearlman Karlsberg's observance of the figure before her while absorbed in a journey of recognition and response to gesture and bone, muscle and texture, light and shape. It is the documentation of the discovery and the artist's layers of seeing, while building a compelling emotive figure.

The artist has graciously agreed to start the bidding at $250.
