Thu Nguyen was born in Saigon, Vietnam. In 1975 Saigon fell and in the resulting confusion the artist was separated from her parents. Thu ended up in a refugee camp near Hong Kong for a year prior to immigrating to the US as an orphan. After getting an art degree, Thu has since settled down to pursue an art career in Los Angeles, CA, Seattle, WA and Hawaii. Thu's work has been exhibited in private and public art collections in the US, Mexico, Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Eastern Europe. In 2016 one of the artist's portrait paintings was exhibited at the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery.
The artist has graciously agreed to start the bidding at $250.

The Bidding Increments are as follows:
$1-99, the bidding increment is $5
$100-199, the bidding increment is $10
$200-499, the bidding increment is $20
$500-999, the bidding increment is $50
$1000 and up, the bidding increment is $100
This item can be shipped or picked up at the Attleboro Arts Museum from November 8th – 11th, 2023. The Museum is open Tuesday - Saturday from 10am-5pm. The winning bidder is responsible for all shipping and handling costs. The artist retains all reproduction and copyrights.
