"Nadia #1" is a portrait study in charcoal on textured canvas. This piece is part of a series created in 2021 exploring texture and the divine feminine in each of us. Ms. Wimmer is inspired by the many layers of experiences that we travel throughout our lives. As an oncology nurse, she spends time with people going through many changing life transitions. And with those transitions, the spirit of strength is always present. Her artwork seeks to explore this.
