Description

Assemblage sculpture

26" x 20" x 12"

Jo Owens Murray began her career as a photographer and is a graduate of Rosemont College. Her assemblage sculptures employ beads and jewels to address human emotions and the issues facing women today. Four of her sculptures are in the permanent collections of art museums in Pennsylvania. Jo and her husband are now full time RVers touring and photographing America.

"No Body" is a unique example of contemporary surrealism. A sculpture of found items that echoes a recurring theme throughout the artist's work. It addresses issues of human emotion that confront today's women and enables the viewer to interpret the work and draw their own conclusions.

The donor has graciously agreed to start the bidding at $200.
