Gail Rousseau began her study of photography at NE School of Photography, Boston, MA and continued to the NH Institute of Art in Manchester. She received a scholarship to study Digital Printing at Maine Media Center, Rockport, ME. Her work has been shown at Lincoln-Levy Gallery, Portsmouth, NH; The Barrett Art Center, Poughkeepsie, NY; The Brush Gallery, Lowell, MA and awarded an Honorable Mention Fellowship by the NH Council of the Arts. She freelancers throughout New England.
The artist's neighbor, Ione Laro lived beside her for 30 years. This image was taken the week she passed away. The empty clothesline illuminated by a single backyard light compelled Gail to make an image of her dear neighbor's absence. The dress belongs to the artist.

A note on bidding: Any high bid that does not follow the listed bidding increments will be nullified and voided.
The Bidding Increments are as follows:
$1-99, the bidding increment is $5
$100-199, the bidding increment is $10
$200-499, the bidding increment is $20
$500-999, the bidding increment is $50
$1000 and up, the bidding increment is $100
This item can be shipped or picked up at the Attleboro Arts Museum from November 8th – 11th, 2023. The Museum is open Tuesday - Saturday from 10am-5pm. The winning bidder is responsible for all shipping and handling costs. The artist retains all reproduction and copyrights.
