This item is an offering bowl made of Milo wood and was created by Ray Nitta of Westside Woodworks. This beautiful piece was made in 2023 of Milo wood that was collected in the Kekaha area. It measures 6" x 3". The bulk of the bowl is rich, dark-colored wood but a central section of lighter wood gives a very interesting contrast to appreciate. This piece could be used decoratively or as a functional piece.

The heart of the master is felt in every stroke onto the wood.

Ray Nitta is a wood craftsman and artisan residing in Kekaha, Kauai. An erstwhile teacher, he is still active in enrichment programs at various schools on the west side of the island. He has exhibited his work internationally. Ray is a board member of Lawai International Center.
