Handcrafted Java Plum Sushi Platter 7"x16"
This one of a kind platter is made out of java plum wood from Kalaheo, Kauai. The platter itself is a thing of beauty, made locally and crafted with the utmost care. The java plum wood is rich and vibrant, with a deep hue that is simply stunning. The platter is perfectly shaped, providing the ideal canvas for the sushi chef's artistry. This platter also features a delicate carved out placement for chopsticks.
The platter was created in Dave Reando’s Kalaheo studio. Dave is a dedicated volunteer who has been helping the Lawai International Center for 10 years setting up for events and managing the Pilgrimages. Every week for the past 5 years, he has been graciously nurturing and caring for the land of the Center.
