Handcrafted sapele wood sushi platter 7" x 12" (legs are macadamia wood from Kalaheo, Kaua'i)

This one of a kind platter is made out of sapele wood and legs from macadamia wood from Kalaheo, Kauai. The platter itself is a thing of beauty, made locally and crafted with the utmost care. The platter is perfectly shaped,  providing the ideal canvas for the sushi chef's artistry. This platter also features a delicate carved out placement for chopsticks and lampwork bead. 

The lampwork bead was created in Dave Reando’s Kalaheo studio. Crafting lampwork beads has been a passion for Dave for almost 20 years. Dave is a dedicated volunteer who has been helping the Lawai International Center for 10 years setting up for events and managing the Pilgrimages.
