I can't rave enough about the quality of the hand crocheted edging on this blanket.  I crochet and this is perfect.  The blanket is a high quality fleece and super soft and VERY sturdy.  It is not flimsy.  Of course you can use it as a pup blanket but I think it would be fabulous as a lap blanket this winter!
