The Harvard Museum of Natural History houses 11,000 specimens from around the globe - dinosaurs, meteorites, rare minerals and hundreds of animals and birds.  See the newly renovated Glass Flowers gallery, with some 2,000 models of flowering plants, handcrafted by glass artisans Leopold and Rudolf Blaschka from 1886-1936, so exquisitely accurate you'd swear the flowers were real!  Immerse yourself in Marine Life in the Putnam Family Gallery.  Get close to the world's only mounted Kronosaurus, a 42 ft-long marine reptile; a 11,642lb amethyst geode; Sperm, Finback & Right Whale skeletons. Explore the sights and sounds of New England Forests in the Zofnass Family Gallery, plus the exhibition of Microbial Life: A Universe at the Edge of Site.


 


The Peabody exhibits six continents of world culture including life-size casts of Maya monuments.  The newest exhibition is Muchos Mexicos:  Crossroads of the America which explores Mexicos' rich history as a site of human innovation, creativity and cultural diversity.

Special Instructions

The winning bidder can pick up this item at our Administrative Office located at 191 Elm Street in Salisbury, MA between 8:00am-5:00pm on Mondays and Thursdays or between 8:00am-3:00pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The Item may also be shipped with all shipping costs covered by the bidder.
