The Revels: A Winter Solstice Celebration, "Tales from Ellis Island"

December 1924: On Christmas Eve at the port of entry to the New World, immigrants are stranded. Families from Ireland, Russia, and Germany spend extended time together, along with their Mexican supervisors. They discover ways to acknowledge and respect their differences while celebrating their shared rites of passage. With a large cast of actors, vocalists, and instrumentalists and featuring a rich mix of Jewish, Irish, and Mexican traditions in songs, dances, and stories, this is an evocative and exciting entertainment.

December 16th at 2:30 pm, and 7:30 pm and December 17th at 2:30 pm at the historic Lobero Theatre. Certificate is good for four (4) Section A tickets to any one performance.
