The Calusa Center's mission is to inspire people to connect with nature by providing an educational, and natural urban oasis to the community.   

Their 105 acre site includes a museum, three nature trails, Planetarium theater, butterfly and bird aviary, a gift shop as well as meeting and picnic areas.

Daily planatarium shows are included in the Calusa Nature Center & panatarium general admission price for free members.
