Description
Harns Marsh or Spring Migration Birding Adventure with Eary Warren
Spend half a day with your binoculars, camera and local birder Eary Warren in some of his favorite Lee County birding hot spots. Eary holds the record for most birds seen in the state of Florida in one year with a total of 397. The winner of this auction will get to choose one of two birding adventures. The first option is a morning of birding Harns Marsh in Lehigh Acres where we will spend the morning looking for a variety of birds including Snail Kites, Grey-headed Swamphens and a variety of ducks and wading birds with a special side trip to see Florida’s only endemic bird the Florida scrub-jay. The second option is a half day birding well-known migratory bird traps during the height of spring migration (mid-late April). The number of birds that pass through SWFL during migration brings the possibility of seeing rare-to-Florida warblers, flycatchers and more. Both options give you access to Eary’s extensive knowledge of Florida’s native flora and fauna as well as his birding skills. Winner will be contacted shortly after the auction to discuss your adventure.
