Mel Barbark is a naturalist and wildlife artist whose lifelong interest in animals and ecology is reflected in his work.  His work has won many awards, including Best in Show destination at the Wildlife Art Walk St. Louis Zoo. He also received the Leonard Berillo Award at the Mountians and Meadows Conservation Fine Arts Festival in Meadow Vista, California and was accepted to the Top 100 of the Arts for National Parks Competition. He also won the Florida Panther Poster competition at the 1995 West Wildlife Art Show in Anaheim, CA and was a featured artist at the show.
