Description
An award-winning boutique winery honors the winemaker’s late mother.
The Blue Cape Cellars wines are made in Santa Barbara County and feature vintages from Santa Rita Hills and Los Alamos vineyards.
The 2013 Pinot Noir won 92 points and an "Exceptional" rating with a gold medal at the Tastings.com World Wine Championships. Judges described it as, Garnet color, fruity light-to-medium body and a graceful, nuanced finish with light oak flavor. An outgoing, mature Pinot Noir with a distinctive note of ripe stone fruit; drink up.
The Blue Cape Cellars name and logo honor winemaker Kim Hartleroad's late mother Aletha who proudly wore a blue cape in her duties as a caring registered nurse. The golden fields of grain pictured on the label are reminiscent of the golden wheat she grew up around on her family's farm in Kansas.
You'll receive a case (12 bottles) of 2013 Blue Cape Cellars Pinot Noir.
