Petite Sirahs and Syrahs - Jim Gordon, Wine Enthusiast

Item Number: 1197
Time Left: CLOSED
Description
What is the difference between Petite Sirah and Syrah? One winemaker explains it like this: Petite Sirah grapes are a deep, inky-purple color, whereas the Syrah grapes tend to be lighter with more of a purplish-red hue. Additionally, Petite Sirah has luxurious black pepper and chocolate aromas, while Syrah offers medium- to light-bodied flavors of blackberry, plum, and pepper.
See and taste the differences for yourself by bidding on this auction lot.
