For 75 years, Lansbury graced our screens and the Broadway stages before passing away last year at 96. The recipient of six Tony Awards, she garnered acclaim for Mame and Gypsy, The King and I and Sweeney Todd, to name but a few. She gained worldwide acclaim for her memorable film roles, including her Oscar-nominated performance in The Manchurian Candidate, and her 12-year television run as everyone’s favorite small town crime novelist, Jessica Fletcher, on Murder, She Wrote.

This framed portrait was taken by renowned photographer Rivka Katvan, one of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS' most ardent champions. Since 1993, she has donated more than 80 extraordinary portraits of Broadway’s most beloved stars, helping raise more than $250,000 for Broadway Cares.
