Inspired by our studies of the continent of Asia, the Upper Elementary students painted a canvas illustrating the beauty of Japanese Cherry Blossoms. Acrylic paint and cotton swabs were used to create the depth and dimension on the blossoming tree. This time of year living so close to Washington D.C., we get to see the beauty of these blooms first hand and decided to capture their splendor.
