ABOUT....

"Fresh hand made mozzarella, burrata, and stracciatella brought to you by mother/daughter duo Elizabeth and Alexandra (Alex) Hitchcock.  Elizabeth was born in Ferrara and raised in Naples, Italy. She came to Cape Cod with her husband David, who she met in Rome while she was studying for her translation degree. They ultimately settled on Nantucket where they have been for the last 30+ years.

Elizabeth started making cheese for family and friends in 2011 because she missed the fresh cheeses in Italy. From there word started to spread and ACK Gioia was born! Alex caught the cheesemaking "bug" from her mom and has followed in her footsteps. She also has a degree in sports medicine and is also a licensed physical therapy assistant when not making cheese."
