Our specialty coffee beans are sourced and roasted with precision to ensure each bean receives the care needed to produce delicious brews.  Sourced from our partners at Royal Coffee, our Decaf offering is from Colombia’s Coffee Triangle: Risaralda, Caldas, and Quindio. The lots are fully washed and undergo a process referred to as ethyl acetate decaffeination. The coffee is soaked to expand the beans for caffeine extraction, upon which the Ethyl Acetate - a naturally occurring substance in sugarcane and other fruits and vegetables - is added to bond to caffeine compounds. The bonded caffeine and Ethyl Acetate removes the caffeine from the beans, which are then washed, retried, processed and bagged for transport. We are tasting notes of candied orange, chocolate, and graham cracker.
