From Suntory's mountain forest distillery, nestled deep in Mt. Kaikomagatake, Suntory Single Malt Whisky Hakushu® is crisp and gently smoky single malt whisky with herbal notes that is the revelation of Japanese single malts.
The illustration on the bottle captures the Hakushu distillery in soft hues of verdant green, representing the forest surrounding the distillery. Our blenders work with peat, while softening the palate using the exceptional mountain water of the area, filtered through ancient granite works. This creates a fresh and smoky single malt whisky that has been aged for 12 years.
