Death at Fair Havens is the first book in a new mystery series by Maria Mankin and her mother Maren Tirabassi. UCCB members will remember Maren as the leader of the Women's Retreat several years ago. Maren autographed this book.

The story is about Wanda Duff, an unconventional New England clergywoman, and Prudence Rye, a high school vice principal, who investigate the suspicious death of Niels Pond at the Fair Havens assisted living facility. As they expose difficult family truths and uncover a dangerous conspiracy operating out of Fair Havens, Duff and Rye discover that curiosity has an unanticipated cost.
