Great Horned Owl with Nestlings

Item Number: 309

Description
Paul Blossom captured this photo of a Great Horned Owl nest site after three years of searching for a nest in Addison County, Vermont. The nest is approximately 60 feet high and well hidden. Paul noted he had to mark his exact position in order to relocate his angle for capturing this photo. He would spend hours at a safe distance from the nest capturing photos of the Great Horned Owl parents tending to their two chicks - even once bringing in a snake for feeding!
His prints are made exclusively on metal becuase of its vibrance and durability. This medium holds up in different environments, including outdoors, so long as it is not in direct light.
