Boston’s North Shore coastline is the picturesque landscape that coffee table books are made of: long rocky beaches, secluded coves, lighthouses, sailboat-filled harbors, small islands, historic homes dating back to the 1600’s, large waterfront estates.

Explore the quaint coastal towns of Marblehead, Salem, Beverly, Manchester, Gloucester, Rockport, and Essex and revisit history at the same time. Travel to Salem and the lore of its witch trials. Be witness to the nation’s oldest fishing port, Gloucester Harbor: home port of the dramatic story told in the motion picture “The Perfect Storm.” See the Rockport quarries where much of the granite used to construct Boston’s historic structures were mined.
