Jan received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Syracuse University in New York and his Masters in Art and Education from The University of Southern Maine. He has continued to refine his skill through many workshops and courses in both Maine and Florida. After many years working, teaching, and painting in Florida, Jan moved back to Maine where he continues to pursue the arts.
