A Southern Maine native, Annie earned her BFA degree, as well as a BS in Art Ed from the University of Southern Maine. She also spent time pursuing Masters work in the Low Residency program at Heartwood College of Art, Kennebunk, and in the summer program at the Academy of Classical Design in Southern Pines, NC, along with furthering her continued education through attendance in various workshops and courses at Maine College of Art as well with other artists throughout the years.  A former art schoolteacher at Mildred L. Day School, Arundel, and River Tree Arts, Kennebunk, Annie has spent time working in the medium of photography as well as in painting.  She is an artist member at The Barn Gallery in Ogunquit, and a member of The Art Guild of the Kennebunks.  She has exhibited in juried group shows as well as having solo shows at the Saco Museum and Kennebunk Free Library. Annie most recently has been creating bold colorful imaginings on the canvas. Other outside interests include spending time outside in nature as well as dancing.
