The Birth of a Nation, the classic D. W. Griffith silent Civil War historical action drama starring Lillian gish, Mae Marsh, Henry B. Walthall, Elmo Lincoln, Miriam Cooper, Mary Alden, Joseph Henabery, Donald Crisp, Howard Gaye and Raoul Walsh.
DESCRIPTION: This is a group of 4 production stills each measuring approx. 8x10 in a variety of scenes. All stills have Janus Films tag and come with the original brown presskit envelope. SEE IMAGES.
ODDITY: Janus Films is an American film distributor that was founded in 1956 so we know these are after that date. However, I looked in the Janus files and there is no record of this release there. So these are probably late 1950s.
CONDITION: Very Good to Very Good+ as some stills has some wear or edge wear.
