Seems fully mature, I'd say medium body, well resolved Tannins, muted nose PNP that developed over the next hour. Not a Fruit forward effort but quite enjoyable. Don't think there's much room for improvement, still no rush to drink it up either. Not showing any signs of age, still fresh and vibrant. Probably will last another 5-7 years if you're so inclined.

The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Star is essentially the best barrel of Cabernet in the cellar.  Vibrant, powerful and driven, the 2014 possesses superb intensity and energy form the very first taste.  The Star is built on brightness and persistence more that overt richness.  I won’t be surprised if it blossoms further with more time in bottle.  There is a lot going on, this is clear.  Drink 2021-2035

Wine Enthusiast 94:

This vintage is the first that was under complete control of winemaker Tyler Thomas, and his studious touch shows magically. There's a powerful density of ripe but not sweet black fruit on the nose of this bottling, along with hints of violets, turned earth and leather. The structure is firm, dense and chalky but with a vivid acidity, offering ethereal, supple flavors of black currant and cocoa on the finish.

Cellar Tracker 92:

Medium+ bodied, traditional styling. Dark fruit on nose and palate, dried herbs, earth, with mocha in finish. The low-oak really works here. Good amount of Santa Cruz Mountains terroir shines through, and a good example of some mountain Cabernet Sauvignon qualities. Drinking nicely in its youth, and should last a decade or even two...

The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon is another terrific wine from Tom Gamble.  Ripe, exuberant and flamboyant in style, the 2015 offers plenty of the vintage’s raciness and yet manages to do so without being overbearing.  Crème de cassis, plum, licorice, chocolate, spice and menthol build effortlessly in the glass.  There is plenty to admire in this intense, powerful Cabernet Sauvignon.  Drink 2018-2013.
