Artist In Residence Program

The National Park Service, California State Parks and Redwood Parks Conservancy coordinates and delivers the parks' Artist-in-Residence program. The program provides an opportunity for eligible artists to spend up two to four weeks at Redwood National and State Parks to pursue their particular art form while surrounded by the awe-inspiring landscape of the parks. The program provides access to work on projects in one of the most inspirational places on Earth.

Artist Bio: Alicia Wilson

Alicia is a self-taught artist that uses her creative talents to express the inner feelings of humans in the personification of nature. She expresses herself mostly through photography, acrylic, and mixed media art.

Her work has been featured on product labels, sold online, showcased at local exhibitions, and cherished by private collectors. But what truly fuels her artistic soul is her passion for leading co-op art projects.

Alicia believes in creating a safe space for people to discover their inner artist. Over the last decade, she's been on a mission to give back by guiding local youth to celebrate and share their art with the world.
