Hand made pillow with pigeon by NeonBetty

A one of a kind completely hand-sewn and hand-embroidered pigeon pillow, created using vintage fabric and sequins/beads. This pillow was made using 1970’s double knit on both sides (front: green and white pattern with pink flowers, back: black sparkly double knit.)

Pillow measures approximately 12 inches by 10 inches (about 5 inches thick).

The pigeon is created from sequins and beads, sewn by hand one at a time. The pillow is stuffed using poly-fil and hand-stitched together. (Care
instructions: hand wash / spot clean only.)

Each NeonBetty pillow is sewn completely by hand (no sewing machine) and hand-beaded and embroidered by a small batch independent maker.

NeonBetty offers hand-sewn and embroidered home decor made one at a time in Brooklyn, New York by Lizzy. Using funky vintage fabric, lots of color and unique 70s patterns, and sparkly sequins, each piece is a unique statement and one of a kind.  Lizzy is a pigeon lover and feeds a flock of pigeons and doves in south Brooklyn. She loves connecting with other pigeon lovers through her artwork.
