For $120 per person, you can buy your way in to a once-in-a-lifetime home-cooked Lebanese meal, complete with wine from Bydand Wines, a Coombsville family-run winery. The group (up to 15 people) will dine outside on the back patio of a gorgeous Tuscan-style home, overlooking the beautiful hills of the Coombsville AVA.
Rhiana, SBS kindergarten mom and a native of Lebanon, will create a custom menu featuring traditional Lebanese dishes crafted with the finest, freshest ingredients.
Indulge your senses in the rich flavors of Lebanon with a unique and unforgettable dining experience. This traditional Lebanese dinner promises to transport you to the heart of the Mediterranean. Immerse yourself in the vibrant tapestry of Lebanese cuisine, renowned for its delectable mezze, succulent grilled meats, and tantalizing desserts. The atmophere will be completed with traditional Lebanese decorations and music.
When you arrive, the table will be filled with mezze -- dips and salads, olives and homemade hummus, and wine will be flowing! After mezze, when you think you may not be able to eat more, Rhiana will bring out the grilled meats, and your wine glass will never be empty. Once dinner is complete, the night will cap out with Lebanese desserts and Arabian coffee.
Location: Bydand Estate (formerly Sodaro Estate)
Sodaro Estate Winery was founded in 1998 by Don and Deedee Sodaro. Rooted in a deep love of agriculture, its inception was drawn from Don’s lifelong passion for farming, which began at age 10 on his father’s land in Illinois. Among the quiet of the countryside Don found endless tranquility, and in its bounty he developed a profound appreciation for the art of growing fruit.
Wines: Bydand Wines
BYDAND (pronounced BUY-dand) is a wine of integrity and tradition. The Old Scots word means steady, constant and abiding -- the time-honored motto of the Scottish Clan Gordon, as well as the guiding principle for our winemaking. The strawberry flowers on our logo are both a key part of the Gordon coat of arms, and a salute to our agricultural tradition.
Bydand's commitment to quality fruit and simple, natural winemaking techniques is uncompromising. From site selection and farming through vinification and aging, we are vigilant about the details -- creating balanced, elegant wines that honor their origins at honest prices.
Since 2014 we have been dedicated to the time-honored craft and traditions of winemaking. Today, our portfolio includes single-vineyard Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from some of the Sonoma Coast's most prestigious vineyards, as well as Cabernet Sauvignon and a red Bordeaux-style blend from our estate vineyards in Napa Valley.
