The Jabberwocky Bookshop is a full-service independent bookstore located in a refurbished tannery mill building in the heart of Newburyport, MA. “Dedicated to the fine art of browsing,” we offer over 7,000 square feet of the best titles we can find for all ages.

At Jabberwocky, we bring people and books together. We have knowledgeable booksellers who love to read and talk about books. Our staff has the dedication and proven ability to help our customers find the perfect books (see our staff recommendations). If we need to order a book for a customer, we will often have it within two days. If you can’t make it into the store, we offer free local delivery two times a week, and free shipping anyplace on the East Coast. Feel free to place an order on our shop page or give us a call to order over the phone.
