This certificate is redeemable for a 10" x 14" watercolor of a pet albeit a cat, dog, horse or hamster! Frame is not included.
Kimberly Meuse is a local self-taught artist who has been painting for more than 30 years. She has had numerous showing in galleries throughout New England including the Barn in Oquinquit and The Firehouse Gallery in Newburyport.
Kimberly says of her animal portraits:
Animals speak to us with their eyes. So much can be read about our pets through their expressions. Steady, attentive gaze, lowered lids, and softened ears tell us that our pet is content in our presence. A turn of the head, relaxed muzzle, perked whiskers - these, and more, are 'tells' of personality. But it is in the eyes where I find the guidance for the painting to reveal that one individual, unique being.
Kimberly donated the watercolor of Jack, the 2023 Fur Ball Mascot.
