This pastel drawing is from Prokofiev’s Opera, "Love for Three Oranges". It is an original costume design for the 1976 production in Iowa. The character is “Pantalone” and it is framed. Signed “To Martha with many thanks and much admiration”. Sam Kirkpatrick was the costume and set designer for this production.
