Global Insitute of Mathematical Science - 4 week science project development

Item Number: 121
Time Left: CLOSED
Description
The Global Institute of Mathematical Science focuses on providing research experience to young students. Whilst the target audience are high school students for year-long projects, we will develop a personalised short "research" science project for students K-12 to develop over a 4 week period, with weekly meetings at the student's address. Ever wondered how electric circuits work? or how to think of black holes? or maybe about properties of regular polygons? By taking into account the child's interests, we will foster their curiosity whilst teaching science.
The institute was founded in 2023 by Dr. James Unwin and Dr. Laura Schaposnik, distinguished Oxford alumni and US faculty who share a passion for education and a commitment to advancing the field of mathematics and sciences.
