The mission of the Petersen Automotive Museum is to explore and present the history of hte automobile and its impact on American life and culture. We are excited to welcome visitors to the world's premier car museum, featuring 25 galleries including the breathtaking exhibit, "Hollywood Customs: Modified for the Movies, We Are Porsched: 75 Years of Porsche, GM Motorama: Joe Bortz Collection"...-all of which are housed within our spectacular structure that communicates speed and motion. These galleries provide a unique, in-depth experience that is interactive, educational, and entertaining for all visitors - from long-time automotive enthusiasts to families seeking a fun experience.
