A blue glass medallion sun catcher, emblazoned with Thoreau's portrait and name. This custom hand-pressed glass medallion was made in an historic glassmaking region of the United States. Centuries-old production techniques result in some color variations, off-center pressings, the shear cut mark, bends, and bubbles, all evidence of handwork with give an individual character to each piece. Only 100% post-consumer recycled glass is used. Measures about 2.75 inches wide and tall.
