STEF KUHN

Self - taught Swiss artist living in Costa Rica since
1982 dedicating most of my time painting. Jean-Michel Basquiat and Henri Matisse have been my major inspiration ever.

For my paintings I use a wide palette of bright colors and work mainly with oil colors on canvas. In my first series of paintings titled "Bellas Mujeres" where I painted colourful portraits of women.

Then I've done a second series called "Playa Pelada"

My home base is in Garza, Nosara, Costa Rica, where I have my own atelier at Villa Matisse.
