Anjale Perrault

Anjalé is an LA native artist who paints provocative, botanically inspired oil paintings. Raised in a cabin in the hills, she draws inspiration from plant and animal symbology as well as memories of childhood field trips to Olivera street and weekend rides to Malibu. After studying painting at UCLA Anjalé opened her own fine art school in Redondo Beach, and 16 years later chose to transition full time into her independent painting career.

Anjale’s current body of work challenges the age-old binary of good vs. evil, inviting the release of our judgment and self-consciousness around the themes of temptation and right vs. wrong. She asks what might happen when we embrace the joy of being in the pleasure of the present moment to welcome in the full spectrum of human experience without judgment. Long story short, she says, “this life is for the living, so let’s do this thing…our way.”
