Alex Rojas (1986).

Habita en San José, Costa Rica.

Egresó de la escuela de Artes Plásticas de la Universidad de Costa Rica (UCR).

Estudió además dibujo y pintura realista en Atelier del Sol y ha participado en varias exposiciones colectivas de pintura, ganando una mención de honor en el certamen SINTERCAFÉ 2018.

Creó la editorial artesanal EMPRENTA (sic) por la cual fue becado por el Ministerio de Cultura en 2022 para la adaptación de una novela gráfica.

Actualmente imparte clases de dibujo y pintura en Academia Artea y desarrolla una serie pictórica, en paralelo a su obra gráfica.

He graduated from the School of Plastic Arts at the University of Costa Rica (UCR).

He also studied drawing and realistic painting at Atelier del Sol and has participated in several group painting exhibitions, winning an honorable mention in the SINTERCAFÉ 2018 competition.

He created the artisanal publishing house EMPRENTA (sic) for which he received a scholarship from the Ministry of Culture in 2022 for the adaptation of a graphic novel.

He currently teaches drawing and painting classes at Academia Artea and develops a pictorial series, in parallel to his graphic work.
