Dungeons & Dragons, is a hobby unlike any other. It is cooperative and collaborative
storytelling where no one knows where the story will go until the players decide what they want to do. It can have the
narrative depth of a great book, but in a social environment. It can have the thrills and excitement of a blockbuster film,
but all in the player's imaginations. It gives the players more agency than the most sophisticated of video games, but
remains a game of imagination that exists in the players minds instead of on a screen. Defeat the monster or befriend it?
Help the royal family or usurp them? Save your friends from horrific doom or run away and deal with the consequences
later? The only limit on what the players can attempt is their own creativity.
