Tosca was first performed on January 14, 1900 at the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma in Rome, Italy. A tragic story of passion and jealousy, Giacomo Puccini's Tosca tells the story of love, lust, murder and political intrigue as the tempestuous singer, Floria Tosca, fights Scarpia, an evil police chief, to save her lover Cavaradossi. Featuring some of the most famous arias, including 'Vissi d'arte, it is one of the world's most beloved operas.

This libretto was gifted to Local Theater Company. No certificate of authenticity is included. Condition is good, and appears to have been rebound since its initial publishing, with original cover and pages included in the rebinding. A sticker at the back indicates the work was performed by Denver Bookbinding Company, custom bookbinders since 1929.
